Sharpener

The shop will be closed from November 22nd to November 26th inclusive. We will then return to our normal schedule.

Our sharpener is feeling ill today. Nothing serious. But the shop will be closed.

We will open for public skating and learn to skate, according to their schedules. Please see our hours to be sure. We are following all Covid protocols including thorough disinfection of all rental items.

We now expect to be opening for public skating and Learn to skate after Thanksgiving. Our planned operating times will be posted soon. We look forward to seeing you again.

Unfortunately, due to the risks of the Covid 19 pandemic and the related restrictions on the numbers of people using Pleasantview Arena, Hockey Stop will remain closed until further notice.

Hopefully, the Fall of 2021 will be better and the shop will open again to provide full service to our valued customers. Please abide by public health recommendations for your own health and the health of others. Stay well and we will see you gain as soon as possible.

Pleasantview Arena is closed at least until April 5th as part of the City of Toronto Covid-19 plan. Hockey Stop is closed and will re-open next fall. Thank you to all our old customers and those we met for the first time this season. Keep healthy and we look forward to seeing you again when skating starts in the fall.

NYHL has cancelled all future hockey games until further notice. The shop will be closed Mondays and Thursdays.

NYHL games for March 12th are cancelled. Therefore the shop will not be open March12th. We will continue to monitor the Pleasantview NYHL schedule for further cancellations and adjust our hours accordingly.

Saturday February 29th is the last class of Saturday’s Learn to Skate program. The shop will be not be open Saturday mornings after that. Check Our Hours for current open times.

Learn to skate sessions have ended until the new programs start in January. The shop will be closed Wednesdays and Saturday mornings until then.
